Psychiatry, psychological therapy, counselling and management techniques are part of the educated attempt to rationalize the fragmented condition of civic life. When we examine this educated preference we are at once amazed by the congruity in our condition. Characters in books and movies give us deeper and fuller meaning in our lives. We turn to literature, theories, ideologies, science and religion to expand our life understanding. Our thoughts follow along the same time and space continuum we believe is the world of the real. Everything is seen as an inevitable passage of the before, the here and the after: One plus one equals two: The cow jumped over the moon: Life and Death.

Were we able to, somehow, suspend life, and to look briefly at some moment in time and space, what would we see? It's not for anyone else to know what is on your mind, although there might be a similarity in what concerns us. In our thoughts about what we don't understand we might consider similar questions. In the end we take a consensus of opinion for what is known and what is the questionable. From the start, observe this very, very closely and notice what comes into mind. This is far more important than the elaboration of questions.
